The retiree cost-of-living increases for 2009 retirees of the Fire and Police Pension Fund, San Antonio, are as follows:

Please notice that pursuant to the amendments to the Fund’s pension law that became effective October 1, 2009, there are three tiers for retiree cost-of-living increases. The above listed percentages are based on the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index Indicators (CPI, US City Average) released on January 15, 2010.
The 2009 retiree's base pay reflects a 2.0% increase on a pro-rata basis, according to the full months they were retired, from 10/1/08 to 9/31/09.
